HOTEL INFORMATION & POLICIES
LOBBY HOURS
Front Desk staff is available from 7am - 11pm. Hotel entry will require a room key outside of these hours. If you plan for an after-hours arrival, please call directly. Emergency after-hours help can be reached at 805.344.0104.
CHECK-IN
Guaranteed at 3pm or later. Early check-in opportunities may be assessed on the day of arrival, based on availability.
CHECK-OUT
Keys must be returned by 11am. Late check-out up to 1pm is based on availability and has a fee. After 2pm, the guest is subject to the full nights room rate + tax.
ROOM KEYS
Each room receives one key. Extra keys must be signed out separately and are also subject to the lost key fee. Each lost key is subject to a $250 replacement and door relock fee.
PARKING
Onsite Paid Parking
Onsite overnight parking is limited and available for purchase ($20 per day per vehicle), on a first-come, first serve basis upon arrival at check-in. Parking spaces cannot be reserved in advance or at time of booking.
Offsite Paid Parking
Parking for additional vehicles, larger vehicles, or EV vehicles is available at the Marsh Street parking structure, located less than a block away from the hotel. Hourly Rate: $3 / Daily Max: $8 / Overnight: $16
Thursday Evening Parking Notice
Every Thursday throughout the year (weather permitting), Downtown San Luis Obispo's renowned Farmer's Market occurs from 6pm - 9pm on Higuera Street. Due to this, Morro Street is closed to vehicles from 5pm - 9pm, which means Granada’s on-site parking lot is inaccessible during those hours.
Granada Hotel & Bistro is not responsible for any damage or theft to vehicles in either lot.
TAXES
All reservations incur a 13.65% San Luis Obispo occupancy tax.
DEPOSIT POLICY
All reservations require a credit card deposit of the first night + tax due at time of booking. The guest will be charged one night upon booking the stay.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Reservations must be canceled 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a penalty of one-night room and tax. Reservations cancelled within 24 hours of booking may be cancelled with no penalty, unless within 72 hours of check-in. Any reservation that has a change of dates within 72 hours of check-in will be subject to penalty.
INCIDENTAL HOLD POLICY
A valid credit card is required at check-in. An incidental hold of $100 will be placed on your credit card at check-in and released upon check-out. We do not recommend Debit Cards for use, since this hold will freeze funds in the checking account.
OCCUPANCY POLICY
All non-suite rooms have a maximum double occupancy. We do not provide any rollaways, cribs, or pullouts. Non-adherence to this policy may result in a forfeiture of your reservation.
GROUP POLICY
Any bookings of 5 or more rooms must be booked as an event. Groups that do not book as an event are subject to cancellation without refund.
FAMILY POLICY
While Granada Hotel & Bistro welcomes guests of all ages, the hotel caters to an adult experience in terms of environment and culture. We ask that all guests carefully monitor their children so as not to affect the experience of our other guests.
PET POLICY
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at Granada Hotel & Bistro. Service animals will not be charged, but a waiver may be asked to be signed.
SMOKING/VAPING POLICY
Our hotel is a non-smoking facility and smoking or vaping is not permitted in the rooms or on patios. Smoking is restricted to the designated smoking area by the north end of the guest parking lot. Smoking inside could result in a damage assessment of up to $500.
